I just checked out your webite and subsequent articles. More power to you bro. I hope it all works out in your favor in the end.
I was pulled over by a New Jersey State cop on new years day 1990. I was driving home to Pa. after spending new years eve at the Jersey shore where my family had a summer home. The cop was driving the opposite direction and eyeballed me as he passed. At the time I was driving a red 5.0 Mustang , had long hair and a beard and some Grateful Dead bumper stickers on my car. The cop turned around and pulled me over. He claimed I was stopped because I had a bandana hanging from my rear view mirror. Fortunately I wasn't busted since I had at least a half ounce of bud hidden in my car. The cop didn't search the car but he was a total prick. My cousin was following and pulled over to see what the problem was. The cop threatened him with arrest if he didn't mind his business. When I got home that day , I mentioned this to a friend of mine who happened to be a local ex - cop himself, and a very cool person as well. He said "you were profiled". That was a foreign term to me and I was dumbfounded when he explained to me what that meant. Well as you know, in the mid - 90's, the New Jersey State Police were sued big time by people who had been profiled and subsequently arrested without any real reason, especially blacks and hispanics. Thanks for letting me vent and the best of luck to you. :-)
