Lites - I'd give ya sympathy - but my Giants suck even worse. Not a good year for ya', plain and simple. I'd wish you a better 2005, but you know I can't wish good luck to either your favorite baseball team or your favorite football team. Oh well - I guess I can wish you luck in finding good bud to drown your troubles in 2005 when both the yankees and the cowboys go DOWN again! :-)

Oh, and of course Merry Christmas to you and yours!

Like I said a future...One more O line man and some pass rush...Giants 10-6 next season..

But I Tuna will be signing Ray Lucas next season..
So you might be one game better..

Dallas will become the new Cardinals of the NFC east for atleast 2 years..

hows TO's ankle???? :-O

Top of pagePrevious messageNext messageBottom of page Link to this message  By Splintered (Sunlite) on Monday, December 20, 2004 - 02:45 pm: Edit Post

The much-anticipated results of Terrell Owens' MRI were inconclusive. T.O. is undergoing further testing. "We don't know anything yet," said head athletic trainer Rick Burkholder, who joined Andy Reid at the start of the coach's day-after press conference. Burkholder said the team will have more information later Monday afternoon and will share that information with the media at that time.
Owens sprained his right ankle on the first play of the third quarter. He limped off the field and then limped down the sideline and into the locker room, where he was taken for X-rays, which were negative.

"The positive is that it wasn't broken; but the negative is that it did swell up," head coach Andy Reid said following Sunday's come-from-behind 12-7 win over Dallas. "We'll know more after the MRI."

What Splintered sai, Lites...... and he'll be fine in time for the playoffs,
he walked off under his own power, although limping, he'll be fine.

>> we do get to watch philly choke once again in the playoffs!

Fritz, pull your head up from watching the Pats (and outta ya asshole) for a minute and look at the NFC playoff race.

1. Eagles locked 1st round bye and home field advantage throughout.

2. The top 2 teams in playoff contention are Atlanta & Green Bay. We owned Green Bay this year, and even though we haven't played Atlanta this year, I have no doubt that we'd beat them!

3. Who else....Seattle, Minnesota or St Louis???? PLEASE

Is there a new sports jinx to take its place alongside the SI cover, Chunky Soup sponsors and the cover of the Madden video game? Eagles receiver Terrell Owens appeared on Letterman last Friday and then sprained his right ankle two days later against the Cowboys.

HAHAHA :-)

2 weeks left in the season

1 bye week

then playoff time

he'll have 4 weeks to rest

plenty o' time

unless of course someone grabs the ankle 1st set of downs when he comes back

:-)

Top of pagePrevious messageNext messageBottom of page Link to this message  By ~Dirty Saint Fritz~ (Fritzbonics) on Monday, December 20, 2004 - 06:22 pm: Edit Post

he is going to need surgery and put a screw in his leg ... fracture of his fibula ... deltoid sprain of his ankle ... on his way back from baltimore ... surgery on wed.
obvious question - what does this mean? normally it takes a little longer to heal you want the screw to stabilize the soft tissue ... at three weeks going to test him out ... bike and water etc
