DVD Notes:
-Audio synchronization and DVD authoring by MattMan (mlcole@wayne.edu) on December 18, 2004.
-TMPGEnc DVD AUTHOR 1.6 used to author DVD.
-Adobe Audition used to compress/expand the new audio in multitrack mode to match the original audio and convert sample rate to 44.1KHz (for VCD) or 48KHz (for DVD).
-Adobe Encore used to encode WAV soundtrack to Dolby AC3.
VCD Notes:
-TMPGEnc Plus 2.5 used to encode the 44.1KHz wav mix to mp2 for VCD and multiplex the mp2 with the MPEG1.
-MyDVD used for autopadding MPEG1.
-VCDEasy used for analysis.
Audio Stream Notes:
-Audio CDRs provided by Chachi420 (thanks!).
-Soundforge 4.0 used for fades & peak normalization.
-EAC X2 with 0 error wav compare.
-XY, stealth, sweetest spot imaginable & not in a hat.
-Taper's Notes regarding Microphone Location: fwiw, the mics were clamped on a pole at the front of the lighting board, which was directly FO(sound)B in the most prime spot (which was also the reserved VIP Section). The poles were there to support tarps over the Lighting Board if it rained (which it didn't for P & F). Though there was some chatter in this VIP section, perhaps more so than the OTS at times, this was like being in the 10th row versus the 30th row, where the OTS started (and red rocks is all deep & tall rows) and hence the sound of the recording has to be
among the best AUDs made.
-Taped (and made possible) by Eric Vandercar, shorten converted and uploaded by Darrin Sacks (dnsacks@usa.net).
Video Stream Notes:
-Source DVD provided by Chachi420 (thanks!).
-Video streams have not been re-encoded. Please note that the video stream for Track #1 (first 1:56:15 of show) was captured at 704x480 resolution, whereas video stream for Track #2 (encore) was captured at 352x480 resolution.
thanks, I can't wait to get back to my computer!
