Getting ready for the big showdown tonight here in Minneapolis to see if our beloved rodents can upset the great ragin Cajuns in women's hoops. Should be a great matchup of perhaps the best post player in the land Janel McCarville versus the best guard in the land Simone Augustus. I know that the Barn will be rocking heavy as the women here in Minnesota have become our state's third leading sports team behind the Twolves and the Twins. Go Gophs!!! Hopefully we can get it done right tonight!! For any fans of the women's game it is on at 7 PM Eastern time on the Duece(ESPN2) - I remember when we upset Indiana for the first time in years under Clem Haskins and how that changed the tenure of the program into the upper level of the Big Ten, and while our team has certainly done that at the conference level a victory tonight could do the same thing nationally following last year's trip to the Final Four. Anyways,can't wait for 6 to come soon enough - Rah Rah Rah for Ski - U - Mah - Rah for the U of M!!!
