I think the hardest part is getting the safety caps off the needles without seperating the points from the syringe. Good to hear all is well. Have a GRATE weekend also.

The little yellow safety caps are tough to pull off - I have yet to pull the points from the syringe but wonder if it dulls the point when yanks off - it seems to bend the point and must rub against the tip.

I just leave the orange thing on. I didn't want to start getting too involved with the rig. I been there, don't want to do it again. I just attach it so the orange thing lays off to the side. Jam it in, check for blood, squeeze, out click the stick protecter into place, and into the sharps bucket. No booting any either...love and peace

Tony -
do you use the 'Redi-Pen'? -that is what I use.
The point has to be screwed into the Unit by turning the clear outer covering of the needle unit and then it breaks the seals, plunger pops and automatically mixes the med and self contained sterile water - then pull off a clear outer protector , then the little yellow cap that is just covering the point, stick it in and push down the dial up dosage trip on the end. It is actually very easy - no blood to register - sounds like you are using a more typical syringe to deliver? Whatever you use - hope all is going ok.
