Yesterday saw him and George Clooney on Sportcenter. When asked what their absolute worst sports moment of all-time was both immediately answered "Laettner hitting that shot in 92 against Kentucky." Damon then said that he hated Laettner, which in my book wins him points under the rule of "the enemy of my enemy is my friend." I still look away from the TV each and every time that shot is shown. It seems to be shown weekly in some context or another. I once had a conversation with Thomas Hill, who is famous for being the crying DOOKIE (12 years before the famous Crying DOOKIE Kid) seen just after the shot. He told me that even all of the guys on the team hated Laettner, so that was somewhat comforting.
