We've come a long way since Days of Thunder, although in one part of the movie, Earnhardt races Neil Bonnett (Sean Bridgers) on foot back to the truck after a hunting trip.

lmfao classic

they did do a pretty good job getting someone to look like Earnhardt.

i guess 50% of the people below the Mason-Dixon line would have fit the bill though.

Have caught bits and pieces of the show over the past few weeks, and finally got to see it to the end....

Gotta say I enjoyed it, clearly the best of the ESPN movies...not that that's saying much.

Thought B. Pepper did a great job as Dale.

When he went back to his Daddy's old garage, and they were kicking the Allmans "Please Call Home," one of my favorite ABB tunes, was very cool...

Interesting use of Blues Traveler "Carolina Blues" after the whole Darlington wreck situation....

VERY eerie ending, with Dale meeting back up with his Daddy.

Overall, I liked it.

ok, thats funny but way untrue.
and barry pepper is from British Columbia, so that shit dont even add up Notty.

and it was blah movie, some well dun parts but overall a 4.5 outta 10. MAX.

the Bear Bryant movie is the benchmark by which all other ESPN movies should be rated. its a timeless sports flick, and the only ESPN movie thats had any heart CHEESE. well it was gridiron shit, and ole timey, so that did a lot for me right there.

peace and christmas buzzes for all.
