Zen tricksters Purple haze 12/4
absolutely cranking.
half way thru one of their originals i went over to Randi and bought their new CD ( Out of the Weirdness).that was a first for me.
bunch of theirs, awesome smattering of GD.
viola and shakedown were ridiculously good. Stranger, Loose Lucy bunch of others.
TaperRob was in the house working his MoJo. Beleive it was steeamed live. how cool is that?
Jeff got skills. Tell him i said so, randi!

My personal highlight was Nobody Knows You When You're Down and Out. The guitar solo was otherworldly! The CD, BTW, is Shaking Off the Weirdness (the Tricksters are not out of the weirdness yet!! LOL!) and I will convey your words to Jeff. MI is not on the ZT's current tour roster, alas, but they will get back there.
when are they returning to Haze?
Don't know--won't be for a while. But they are playing New Year's Day (night) at the Downtown in Farmingdale with Rob Barraco. That is the only Long Island show on the schedule right now.
