Sunday Morning 12-5
8am pacidic time and no Sunday morning thread started... so here goes.
cool and a bit rainy here in LA.... it's a lovely day if it doesn't rain.. and a lovely day if it does...
Yep, cloudy, damp morning here in North Texas. Just getting up and moving around. Here's to Good Health, Few Sides and SVR to all of us. Thank you all for the luv, support, encouragement, and hope.
Nice sunny day n NYC area slept good last nite went to my support group and I'm feeling a tad better by taking care of myself and attempting some humility and gratitude and that I have air in my lungs Peace
Hi aloha everybody,
Sunny and beautiful here. May head out to the beach for awhile or I may just stay play with my orchids and palms and my big wonderful dog. In otherwords, I am NOT working! Yay!
I read with understanding, empathy and sympathy all of your struggles and fears. I am with you 100%! I am 9 months post 48 week TX and SVR. I will NEVER forget what it was like. It seems to be behind me now but my personal obligation to be a kinder, better human remains. I've been given back my life.
With love and aloha~Janet
Thanks always Janet for your wisdom and reports on the life in Hawaii. Its an acceptable if not gorgeous day here in the Berkshires..my restaurant is serving brunch non stop, transitioning to lunch about now..my antiques shop is open, and despite my tx, all the sides, all the emotionalism etc..I am still working three jobs..all self emplyed of my own volition...but 3 jobs nontheless.
I had a great workout today too...Great cardio and big weightlifting session. Making great strides..growing bigger and stronger all the time..which is how I like it! Energy level shoots way up!
SVR for all!

Whereas in Big Chicago, it was in the upper forties, bright and sunny, the Bears beat the Vike's, and I won four out of five games of the perfect sport. A great day, I'd call it. Now I'm off to Mack's list to see what I can see...Happy Sunday to all. Where's Dave today, that happy travelin' fool?
Jim
Great reports coming in from all over Philland. Good to see everyone checking in and feeling phine.
Wintery cold day here in New Hamster. Snow flurries these last couple of days...nothing sticking or staying on the ground yet. That too is soon to change, I believe. The wifey and kidlets getting primed for the season busy today preparing the area in the all season porch/music/dining/clutter room to set up the ritual tree.
I did manage to drag my ass off a couple hours to the local village supermarket and ring the bells soliciting for our Goffstown Salvation Army's food pantry and Xmas relief fund for the disadvantaged folks. Something I readily volunteer my time to help with now going on 10+ years. Always a rewarding experience for me, Goffstown pholks are a kind and generous tightly knit community. This year I'm taking it day by day...hour by hour to see if along the way I can fill some time slots not already covered in between NEOB tabling and musical injections. Yes, a happy Sunday to all.

the happy travelin' fool
11:30 PM in Socal. Still Sunday. Rained most of day, Clear and cold tonight.
I wish I was in Hawaii, but I guess I could be in Montana or Chicago or NY.

Blues brothers movie was on the tele tonight.. made me remember I have a pic ..(not the real thing, just actors)

I took a day off from the computer yesterday (it had crashed on friday) everything seems to be working fine now. I hope everyone had a good Sunday. I got up around 6:30; wake and bake to AOD then the big breakfast and then watched the Giants lose. As Meatloaf used to say "2 out of 3 ain't bad."
