Steve Earle's The Revolution Starts Now maybe the only album I bought in 2004. It's a good one.

Mark Knopfler's Shangri-La is the CD of the decade. Each song is an amazing tale in it's self. Shangra-La has it's on special brand of swing (I wouldn't let you down). It's powerfull yet mellow.

Then Bruce Hornsby's Halycon Days (with Eric Clapton's best leads in years) This is Bruce's masterpice as well.

I picked up Natalie McMasters 2003 Blueprint last week....fantastic CD. With Tito Woten, Jerry Douglas, and Bela Fleck on a few tracks)"."

I love Shangri-La. Knopfler's a fuckin' genius.
That song about McDonalds is a hoot.

Thanks for reminding me, Allen.
It's certainly in my top 5 of the year.
