I gotta hand it to you for your enthusiasm. Like I said on another thread, how about the Big 12 step up to the plate with a little Big12/ACC challenge? The Big 10 hasn't given the ACC much challenge, so we welcome y'all. Of course, the Big 12 won't play in anything unless they stick some kind of corporate sponsership on it, especially if the corporation is Dr. Pepper. While the 12 has several good teams, top to bottom it simply doesn't match the ACC. You guys should stick to football and rodeo and whatever else you guys do out on the Plains. And Notty, it's always in good fun, even though I really do detest #4 and the cult that has grown up around him. He may indeed kick Dean's ass, but he could spell kick, ass, or Dean. But I bet he can spell rehab, chainsaw, Vicodan, restraining order, and doublewide. Football=lowest common denominator sport. But it's just the alkyhol talkin' at this point, so I'll stop before I say something I regret. Like that ever stopped me 8-) Here's to hoops season...and the Heels kickin' your collective ass!

The Dr. Pepper thing refers to y'all football championship game. And hey, I did hold off on making some kind of Rocky Mountain oyster reference. But let's be friends, because we both hate that greasy disciple of Satan, AKA Coach K, that punk named Quinn Snyder. The guy seems to be running a fine, clean, upstanding program down there...not! I admit to being a little sauced when I ran off at the mouth last night...not that I'm backing down from anything I said. As for Wake losing: they got pummeled, but the ACC still won the challenge by a long shot. And Notty, I don't understand what you are trying to get at with your Ric Flair reference? Are you implying that the Nature Boy does not represent an intellectually superior sport? While rasslin' is pure shit, the Nature Boy transcends its boundaries and stands tall as a wonderful archetype of all that is great in our society. Unlike Brett Favre. To be honest with you, football ain't my bag either, as Notty can attest, but it was a good clean shot that I had to take. But even the lowly Heels football program is going to a bowl, even though it is a bowl named after tires. Now I must get back to the business off working up some serious bad juju to work on the Kentucky Wildcats, for they come into Chapel Hill tomorrow. I'm not above enlisting supernatural aid to take down Tubby and his running Wildcats. I absolutely hate the program built by that uber-racist Rupp, even though they do have Ashley Judd in their corner.
