Sports and Trivia Archive 2004:
200......
while you all sit back and recline your easy chairs as you prepare to watch this Monday's scrap between the Packers and the shitty Rams, realize that while all of your teams have been playing the quarterback shuffle, we have been solidified at the position for the last 200 regular season games. 220 if you count playoffs.
i shudder at the thought that in the not too distance future, we will no longer have #4 to lead our team.
he has been down, but never out.
props to Brett, and here is to 200 more!
I am not the biggest Pack fan in the world but I still remember the day that Favre went in for Don M. Remember his licence plate was Majic 7 or something like that???
Anyway I knew then that the Pack had something special.
I always wished they had won that SB against the Broncos. That was one of the best SB's ever.
Anyway, hats off to Brett Favre for a fantastic career as he continues to will the Packers to victory.

Seriously, I love any star who'll stick with their team for their whole career. They're the kind of players I grew up watching as a kid and they're few and VERY far between these days.
I blame MTV and Steinbringer
Any true sports fan has to love and admire Brett Farve it's that simple. The man has proven himself in every opponents eye's, as the the most feared and respected athelete that they ever have to go up against, and has the most respect of any QB in the league as we speak!
I really don't even think there really is a close second when it comes to true charactership and "love of the game" mentality that he carries......and there is no one that I would rather have personally be at the helm of my team than MR. Brett Farve.....hands down!!!
