Just found some reasonably priced tickets for the Packers vs. Rams Monday Night Football game coming up in about a week and a half. Never been to a pro football game before, and am a lifelong Packer backer. Needless to say, I'M PUMPED! I hope it's a good game (mostly hope that the pack wins though). I had comp tix lined up from a friend 8 years ago for Packer-Vikings at Lambeau when they went on to win it all, but it fell through because of a friend who wasn't much of a fan, of anything now that I think back. I can't wait for this game! I also have six days off work starting with Thanksgiving Day, so it coincides with a VACATION!!!

Arrive as early as possible, and wear every single
piece of clothing you own, but do not wear cheese.

Cool, not cold.

gbp x 1

sweet jeffro. i have been to Lambeau many times and it is always a great experience. most recently, i was there for the Cowgirl game a few weeks ago.

trust me, not a bad seat in the house. be sure to take in the history of the place, and get in early so you can check out how they blended the new renovations with the old stadium.

the ring of honor is especially cool. take in the game knowing that #4 will someday be acknowledged with the other Packer legends.

4

be ready to drop $25 to $30 to park anywhere close to the place now.:-(

i suggest going to Kroll's before the game for a place to hang and a bite to eat if you are not tailgaiting. it is located on the north to north west side of the stadium and will usually have some "cheesy"cheese band playing before and after the game.

Stadium View is also cool if you are on the other side of the stadium over by the Hutson Center.

let me know if you have any questions i can try to answer for you before you go.

i actually had an opportunity at some tickets for that game and passed them up because Monday night games are so hard to swing with work and kids. what a Zoner hook up that would've been.....at the Frozen Tundra.:-)

where are your seats Jeffro?

My seats are:
Section 137 Row 16 Seats 15-16
Probably not too great, huh?
I really wanted to go see them play Dallas too, but couldn't find reasonable tickets. Then I switched focus to Packers-Lions next month. Couldn't find much for that game, either. Just happened to find these two for MNF at $85 each. That seemed pretty good compared to everything else I was able to find, especially for the other games.

Thanks for all the advice, Notty.

Wow, what a great time! Favre's 200th and the Pack smoked 'em! Got there very early and enjoyed some tunes in the lot...a band under a canopy, a brass band, someone was even blasting some Panic out of their vehicle. I'll definitely be trying to return next year, Lambeau is the place to be.

GO PACK GO!

come on Jeffro. can't you give us a little more than that.

i go to Lambeau usually twice a year if not more. where did you hang? did you check out the HOF?

did you get down close enough to the field to shout insults at anyone or maybe toss a drink on someone?

Well, we were 15 rows up, pretty close, south endzone. Gilbert Brown came out before the game and was talking to fans. Didn't get to check out the HOF, will have to be next year. People in our section had a "Noonan" chant going when the the Rams attempted and missed the FG in the 1st Quarter, so we had that going for us...

Getting out after the game was a little bothersome. Could be because we lingered for a while and soaked it in, but I think we made a mistake by parking in the Big K parking lot (stuck in there for at least 1/2 hour to an hour). Next time, I'm looking elsewhere, maybe somebody's house where they charge $10 only ($20 at big K). It was still a great time though. My wife just gets frustrated easily in traffic (just think of what I had to go through while waiting in traffic for 18 hours at Bonnaroo 02). We were staying in Oshkosh, too so we had a 50 mile drive afterwards, and it was pretty slow moving. Got these tickets so close to game time that this was the closest hotel I could find with vacancy. Still was very happy with the game and trip though. Oh yeah, we actually had a couple of Rams fans by us who didn't get heckled too badly, but one guy decked out in Vikings attire sure did!

4 hours til game time today at Philly. This sure will be a challenging game for the Packers.

GO PACK GO!

TO'S shoulder? how about his jaw.:-)

Jeffro, you can park at anyones house right around the stadium but plan on paying $20 to $30 depending on how close you want to be. that will greatly help your "out" time. traffic will still suck once you hit the road though.:-(
