Yeah, and they're going to raise the debt ceiling too...

Well, Amerika, you're getting what you voted for. Hope you don't choke on it.

Can only hope it comes back to bite them in the ass as they get more and more cocky as they keep getting away with shit like this and abuse power even more . . . just like Nixon . . . although by then there may not be anybody left to care . . .

>>>Hell if he were a dem. they would have let him fry

It was enacted In 93 to do that very thing BY majority Repubs. The hypocracy is sickening, as is the Chickenhawk status of the Neocons.

Chickenhawk: One who makes/runs wars, but never fought in one.

It's the Golden Rule: He who has the gold makes the rules.

Who cares if he's a dishonest sleazeball.

He's a God fearing Christian man who doesn't like gays.

He is unfit for office. PSTD from high school bullying, perhaps. Or a REALLY Bad paper cut.

On a more serious note, how far would the House relax its ethics, Hillman? Would Delay be able to retain his position if convicted as a result of the alleged indictment?

I did use word "alledged", Seija :-) no blood spilled in this thread yet, but the enactment and adjustment to suit the party in power is disturbing.

Your team won, and the CNN report seems to bear out a biased allegation. Delay has yet to see the end of it. Anyone that brutal has to have skeletons SOMEWHERE (one can hope).

Thanks for not posting a fox link.

>>>Thanks for not posting a fox link.

I don't watch Fox nor do I regularly read Fox unless it is linked from somewhere else.

I posted the link because I read it this morning and remembered this thread.

I have not seen "Outfoxed" yet. Have you?

"I have not seen "Outfoxed" yet. Have you?"

This is a MUST SEE. It contains very recent footage - mostly from the run-up to the election. From the panels declaring "224 days until Bush is re-elected" to the Jeremy Glick interview, it is reinforcement of just how twisted and biased TV news has become.

Compared to Fox, I guess other outlets could be seen as "more liberal" - but that's akin to comparing the darkest shades of grey to obsidian. You now have moderately conservative (most other mainstream news outlets) - and then you have Pravda (Fox).

I read that Canada will begin broadcasting Fox news next year.....are they next to get infected?

On the DeLay matter: If you think this manuvering is bad form, wait until the senate filibuster rule gets removed in January........

I have been recommending Outfoxed for a long time.

I see it's message as a rip on jounalists and the 4th estate in general for allowing such unfiltered crap to pollute the airwaves.

It's a MUST-SEE!

I'm baaaack................

FUCK TOM DELAY & the damn partisan politics. If this were happening to say, oh, Obama or someone like that, the Repugs would be screaming for a lynching!!!

And I unfortunately agree with Dave........we ain't seen nothing yet!

I TOLD YOU not to vote for that fucking Shrub & I WILL have the last word on that subject. It's just a matter of time.
