Can anyone recommend any releases by either Albert Ayler or Roy Ayers?

Thanks!

The only thing I've ever heard of Aylers was "Ghost" and that was years ago. I really liked it and it might be worth investigating. Not much help, I know, but what the hey.

Yeah, to answer my own question...i dug up a Syd fanzine I got a few years back, and he did play lead guitar on a rough version of the track "religious experience" by Ayers, but his part never made it onto the record. This was in '69.

I haven't ever heard any of Ayers' stuff either, but I heard of him 'cause of reading this article. What's his stuff like?

Roland Kirk is da man!! The only one I know well is "I Talk to the Spirits" and it's killer. Every song is good. There are weird sound effects on some tunes, lots of neat things going on that's above my head, but it sounds amazing.

The Inflated Tear is supposed to among his best, too.
