We are losing sight of history. America was founded by a group of govt paranoid people. Now if anyone presents condescending points of view about our leaders its dismissed as "lunatic left-wing rhetoric." Well, if you are as far right as most of our leaders i guess everyone else does look like a lefty. I am an independent voter, consider myself a centerist, and you would think everyone should be as concerned as I am about complete republican control. No one seems to care about checks and balances anymore. I would say the same thing if it applied to the Dems. Why are we blindly following? Are we really that scared of dudes kissing?

Wait until the next terrorist attack on US soil and you'll see........

I'm not afraid of the terrorists nearly as much as our Gov't's reaction to them. Refer to 9/11. Whaddaya think they are gonna bust out with this time? More wars? Draft? Collapsed economy (which will be coming in some form anyway - but will conveniently be blamed on "Terra")? Civil War? The multiple choice options all look poor. At least there will be jobs in the Armed Forces!!!!

And yeah - the endless gay hating, god fearing, terrorist fearing, ram it down yer throat mentality - and the swinging around of the term "librul" like it's the new "N-word" substitute sure sounds "brownshirted" to me.

And let's hope OPEC doesn't start taking Euros for oil - or we are in for a REALLY ROUGH ride. Like world war. Hell, we might be heading THERE anyway
