I am normally screaming from the mountaintops about the dumbasses who use BT behind a firewall.

My problem is on my tracker at beefjerkygood. I used to be golden. I could connect to my tracker all day long. Then, all of a sudden, myself and most of my users were showing up as firewalled and actually behaving as if they were. I have no router. I just use Zone Alarm and a cable modem. I can connect to other trackers at bt.etree and Easytree fine and show up as NOT firewalled.

My question is, why does my tracker think I'm firewalled? I'm using torrentbits, which has some bugs, but nothing that would make it do this. I use Azureus as a client and have changed my listen port to everything under the sun with no result.

My first thought is that my ISP was blocking ports, but I changed the port 100 times and can connect to other trackers. I don't think my webhost could be it either because BT only uses reguloar http requests and if they blocked those, my websites wouldn't work at all.

I'm stumped.

I've also restarted my computer with Zone Alarm disabled, so I was bare ass nekkid on the net and I still showed up firewalled.

I'm not sure about you, but i had a similar problem, then i ran across this:

this may not be your problem, but you may want to check around all the same...i'm pretty sure that's what my problem is!

Thanks Trips. I don't think that's it because I can connect to other trackers. There's not a whole lot of documentation on the tracker side of things. There is something definately goofy about my web server, not my machine. Thanks again anyway.
